Consultations
Laura Paxton, founder of Exceptional Haven, is a special education specialist, consultant, and instructional designer. She has a master's degree in psychology and an Ed.S in Guidance and Counseling, both from the University of West Georgia.
She took additional post graduate coursework for certification in special education, and she passed the Praxis Test in 2005. She has 20+ years of combined experience as both a brick-and-mortar classroom teacher, and an online teacher and tutor for students with special needs. She is also a neurodivergent teacher, 2E, with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and gifted intelligence, so she understands and connects well with divergent learners.

We work with teachers, parents, and kids of all ages. We also provide ongoing tutoring for kids with special needs, and academic and life skills coaching for adults.
We are happy to announce that we have partial scholarship funds available, and we'll be happy to discuss this with you at your free consultation.
Tutoring Plans and Packages
All plans are set up to be recurring and they are automatically paid weekly subscriptions, until you pause or cancel them.
Packages allow you to buy a certain number of classes, schedule them when you want, and renew more sessions when you want.

Please note
All packages can be scheduled in any way you wish, monthly, weekly, every day, or whatever works for you and your family. They do not automatically renew or bill automatically. When they run out, you need to buy a new session pack to continue. They also offer higher discounts. However, they are non-refundable if you cancel a scheduled session, (although we are happy to re-schedule!)
